In recent times Marvel has introduced a lot of Female characters who are taking up the mantle for their male counterparts. The list includes: Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and now even Blade has one. That’s right, following the recent talks with Wesley Snipes returning to the franchise in reboot or sequel form, Marvel has announced a Blade series that will have a female incarnation.
This was announced during the SDCC 2015 event at Marvel’s Women of Marvel panel, the series will feature Tim Seeley and Logan Faerber. To add to the new twist, Blade will feature a newly unveiled daughter named Fallon Grey who hails from Oregon. Its unknown what else will become of this new series or whether or not she’ll receive a movie live action series.
One thing is for sure though, the comics series will have it´s debute in October this year, and we’ll know more about the new Blade as things progress.
