I’m quite sure that the most of you  probably already know, E3 2017 will open up it’s doors on the 13th of June (the event ends on the 15th of June). However, what you might not know is that Nintendo has release some new information about their event plans for E3 2017. You see, Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just sent me the following information per e-mail:

“Nintendo’s activities on the E3 this year will start on Tuesday, June 13 at 6:00 pm Swedish time with the presentation Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017. It will be available at http://e3.nintendo-europe.com/

For many exciting details about Super Mario Odyssey and other Nintendo Switch games. The focus will be primarily on the game released this year.

Directly after Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 runs Nintendo Treehouse: Live live with live broadcasts from E3. The broadcasts will focus on upcoming games for Nintendo Switch and game consoles in the Nintendo 3DS family. These live broadcasts take place between 13 and 15 June via http://twitch.tv/team/nintendo and there is also a “chatroom” for all fans. You will see both the gameplay of the games as well as comments from the game developers.

For anyone coming to Nintendo’s stand on the E3 on June 13th, the first time some Nintendo players will play Super Mario Odyssey and other upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Odyssey is Mario’s first sandbox-like game since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

In addition to this, Nintendo will host two major live game tournaments on this year’s E3. One is the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational held on June 13, showing the game Splatoon 2 for Nintendo Switch. In that tournament, teams from Europe, the United States, Japan and Australia / New Zealand meet. The second tournament is 2017 ARMS Open Invitational, held June 14th, where ARMS to Nintendo Switch is played.

e3 2017

I’m pretty excited to see what Nintendo has in plans for us during this year’s E3 event (secrets, surprises and whatnot).

Furthermore, I was given this press release as well:

Full press release:
11th May, 2017 – As part of Nintendo’s plan to deliver news about upcoming games throughout the year, the company will provide a packed week of activities at the E3 video game show, which runs from 13th to 15th June in Los Angeles.

Proceedings will be headlined by the first-ever opportunity to play Super Mario Odyssey, Mario’s upcoming sandbox-style adventure for the Nintendo Switch console, as well as other Nintendo Switch games. Additional activities at the annual show include a Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 video presentation announcing new details for Nintendo Switch games launching this year, the return of Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3, and tournaments for ARMS and Splatoon 2 livestreamed from the show floor.

Nintendo’s E3 activities kick off on Tuesday 13th June at 17:00 BST with its Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 video presentation. When Nintendo’s booth space opens at noon L.A. time on 13th June, show attendees will be among some of the first people in the world to get their hands on Super Mario Odyssey as well as other games for Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Odyssey is Mario’s first sandbox-style game since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

In addition to all of these activities, Nintendo will also host game tournaments that will be livestreamed from the E3 show floor.
