As some of you “Splatton” fans out there might have noticed, we have written quite a lot about the Splatoon 2 European Championship as of lately. Well, it’s time for one final update of the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018/2019 edition.

You see, Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just informed us that the French “Splatton” team “Alliance Rogue” is now the European “Splatton 2” champions:

“601/5000After months of hard training and contestants in Splatoon 2, the twelve best European teams in Paris met on 9 and 10 March to decide which was the best team and champion in the Splatoon 2 European Championship 2018-2019. It became a very exciting final where Alliance Rogue met the reigning European champions BackSquids.

After the fierce battle Alliance Rogue won the victory and can now name themselves European champions in Splatoon 2. Big congratulations to them !!! In addition to this powerful title, they also won an incredibly fine trophy and exclusive gold-colored Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers with Splatoon 2 theme.

All teams that came to the European final in Splatoon 2 had previous victories in their respective countries or regions. In the first semi-finals in Paris, German BackSquids defeated Spanish Polarized by 3-0.

In the second semi-final, Alliance Rogue lost the first game against our Nordic team Ämpäri Gang, but Alliance Rogue managed to put in a higher gear and won the next duel.

It was incredibly even between Alliance Rogue and Ämpäri Gang, but the French team finally managed to win the semi-finals with 4-1. Congratulations to Ämpäri Gang who managed to reach a third place and give the winning team Alliance Rouge a really tough challenge.
