Okay, what the hell has happened to the Fatal Frame series? Because seriously, when did Fatal Frame become a erotic/lesbian fantasy kind of experience? I thought that Fatal Frame would be all about horrors, darkness, fear and creepy ghosts?
But apparently i was dead wrong. Because Koei Tecmo´s (and Nintendo SPD´s) “Fatal Frame V: Oracle of the Sodden Raven” (for Wii U), seems to be all about half nude girls and erotic situations (you can take pictures of the girls like a Playboy photographer).
You know, not to be a moral speaker or anything (people can like and play whatever they want). But to be honest, i think Koei Tecmo might have gone a “bit” to far with Fatal Frame V.
I mean, even “if” the game turns out to be really great (great gameplay and so on). I´m not cool with how the female characters are portrayed in Fatal Frame V.
It´s okay to have nude skin and sexy females in games, IF it´s done right (like the “Bayonetta” series for example. Awesome series that). I´m not a big fan of the Lolita (pedobear warning) stuff either, but that´s a matter of taste i guess.
One thing is for sure though. Fatal Frame V will bring a lot of controversy to Europe (Fatal Frame V was released in Japan back in September last year) when it get´s released to the Wii U.
And i can´t say that the game is going to improve the part that concerns “sexism in video games” all that much either…
But what do you guys think about Fatal Frame V? Has Koei Tecmo gone to far with their desire for young and half-nude females?
