Telltale Games ain´t exactly a small or unknown game developer anymore. Because they have made game series such as “The Walking Dead“, “The wolf among us” and “Tales of Monkey Island”.

And pretty much every single game that Telltale has made so far, has turned out really well in the end (both in terms of grades and sales). So i felt really pleased when i heard that Telltale would handle the Game of Thrones video game series.

game of thrones iron from ice

Will Telltale Games be able to live up to all the hypé? And will the Game of thrones fans like the game?

Because i was somewhat worried that Cyanide Studio´s would handle the Game Of Thrones licence again (just google “Game of Thrones – The Game”, and you will understand what i meant by that).

That´s great of course, but as you might imagine. The pressure is on for Telltale Games. Because not only is the Game Of Thrones fan base humongous. It´s also a big and famous brand. So there´s zero room for any mistakes.

But episode 1 (“Iron from ice”) has done really well i have to say (the PC-version of EP1 has a 80% average rating via gamerankings.com).

So i might just buy the game via Steam (it costs 27,99 Euro at the moment). But what do you guys think about EP1 of Telltale Games Game Of Thrones?
