Some of you might still remember Ninja Theory´s hack and slash action PS3 game “Heavenly Sword”? Well, for those who don´t.
Heavenly Sword is a pretty good game (it has a average score of 80% via gamerankings.com for example). And it was hard to NOT find a liking to the female protagonist (Nariko), as she´s just as beautiful as she´s strong, brave and brutal in combat.
And it seems like Ninja Theory is aiming to create a strong female lead for their new hack and slash action game “Hellblade” (for PS4 and PC) as well. As the game is starring a really strong female maincharacter (her name is “Senua”).
But unlike “Heavenly Sword”, “Hellblade´s” story is based on Celtic myth. And you (Senua) is heading out on a journey through a hellish underworld.
Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? 😉 Well, i like “Hellblade” so far at least. And i really like the soundtrack for the game as well (just listen to “Hellblade – Ninja Theory´s hack and slash action game”).
But it remains to be seen how well (bad) “Hellblade” will turn out in the end. And do to the fact that the game is set for a 2015 release, i bet that we will see a whole lot more from “Hellblade” during E3 this summer.
