There are quite a few Jurassic Park mods and inspired games out there. Like JurassiCraft! (Minecraft) and Jurassic Life (a HL2 mod) for example. But not until today i found out about a fan project called “Jurassic Planet“.

Which would be a very ambitious and interesting project. Because it seem´s like everyone that´s involved in Jurassic Planet, are hardcore fans of Jurassic Park. And some of the in-game pictures are really impressing imo.

Jurassic Planet is a must play for everyone that loves Jurassic Park and dinosaurs in general.

So i really hope that the development team will release some gameplay footage for Jurassic Planet asap!

About Jurassic Planet:
What if dinosaurs were discovered surviving on an island hidden away from the rest of the world, but do to geological changes and shifts, the island is slowly tearing itself apart and is returning to the sea it once came from.

The cloning company Jurassic Genetics has sent a team of scientists to the island to get samples of the remaining species on the islands dna, through much loss and death one scientist managed to successfully return with the dna of three dinosaurs species velociraptor, stegosaurus and triceratops (since they are the only ones with animations finished lol) Jurassic Genetics has set up a plot of land for an amusement park/ biological preserve to be built upon to show the world these lost species and at the same time try to successfully breed them back into a healthy population. The name of the amusement park being Jurassic Planet.
