Not everyone believed in Dontnod Entertainment´s supernatural adventure game “Life is Strange” (for PS3 and PS4).
But i liked the concept for the game, and the plot. So i was pretty open-minded about “Life is Strange“.
And guess what? The first episode (out of five) turned out pretty well in the end. At least when it comes to grades and reviews.
Because right now, “Life is strange” got a average score of 77,50 – 85% (depending on the format) on gamerankings.com
So that´s a pretty good start for the “Life is strange” series at least. But you know what they say. One good game don´t put you in the hall of fame.
And as we all know, there´s four more episodes coming up. So the question would be if Dontnod Entertainment can keep the flow going with Life is Strange, or if it will fall flat on it´s ass along the way?
About Life is Strange:
Life is Strange is a five part episodic game that sets out to revolutionize story based choice and consequence games by allowing the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future. As Max you must uncover the disturbing truth behind your premonitions and learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future.
The first episode that you’ll play is titled Chrysalis and it’s an introduction to the world of Life is Strange. Here, Max and Chloe reunite and you will make important choices that will influence their destiny.
You will see some of the short-term consequences of those choices but bear in mind that there are also mid and long-term repercussions that will pan out over the course of the later episodes, in a butterfly effect manner. Rated Mature: Blood, Secual Themes, Strong Language, Violence, Use of Drugs
