I honestly coulden´t belive my eye´s when i found out that the No mutants allowed homepage are still alive.
I bet that many of you have no idea what the No mutants allowed page are all about, right? Well, please allow me to enlighten you then.
Let´s go back 17 years in time, back to 1997. That was the same year that Interplay released their post apocalyptic turn based RPG game Fallout. And it turned the Gaming world up side down.
Because back then most RPG´s was either Jrpg´s or fantasy EU/US JRPG´s.
Fallout on the other hand. It was a +18 RPG game (+16 in some countries). You could kill pretty much anyone that you wanted, you could have sex, get high and drunk. And that of course, was a big no-no for the 13-year-old me.
But me and my friends didn´t care about that. Because we had way to much fun with Fallout to even bother about the age rating of the game. And then we heard about a little homepage called “No mutants allowed”, and please keep in mind.
This was around 1997-1998. And back then, not that many people had access to internet. At least not in Sweden. Anyhow, No mutants allowed was (and still are) a page dedicated to the Fallout series.
You could find tips, guides, cheats, item lists and even a list of easter eggs (which can be found in the Fallout games).
So imo, it´s pretty darn cool that No mutants allowed have been around for over 17 years now. Because i spent quite a lot of time on that page as a teenager.
So if you are a fan of Fallout (or post apocalyptic games in general), then you should visit the No mutants allowed page asap!
Trust me, you won´t regret it 😉
