I never thought that i would get to see a team-based FPS game by Blizzard. Because FPS games hasn´t exactly been their thing in the past. But times has changed, and so has Blizzard.

And it seems like Blizzard are dead serious with their game “Overwatch“. But the FPS crowd is probably THE most spoiled crowd in the whole world (keep in mind that FPS has been around for a very, very long time).

So the pressure on “Overwatch” is already on. And as we all know, there´s plenty of team-based FPS games out there. Games such as “Destiny”, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands 2, Battlefield 4 with many more.

So what makes “Overwatch” stand out from the crowd then? Well, besides the fact that the game looks (and feels) like a mix of Unreal Tournament, Starcraft and Pixar (just watch the cinematic trailer!).

“Overwatch” offers a lot of different classes, heroes, gameplay modes and ways to win the game. So “Blizzard” might just have a royal flush on their hands with “Overwatch”.

That´s also why i´m going to give the game a fair chance via the beta (yes, you can sign up for the “Overwatch” beta if you want to).

However, it seems like there´s quite a few that doesn´t feel the same way about Blizzard´s “Overwatch” though.

Most of them got really angry over the cinematic trailer (which they thought looked like a kiddie movie from Pixar). But just like always, it´s ALL about the gameplay.

And that makes me wonder. What do you guys think about “Overwatch” so far?
