This is the day that many of us Resident Evil fans has been waiting for a long time. Well, that wait is now finally over. Because Resident Evil HD Remastered has now been released to both PC (Steam, you can buy it for 20 Euro), Xbox One and PS4.
Awesome! But was Resident Evil HD Remastered worth all the wait? And does the game live up to all the hypé? Yes and no. Rating/grade wise, RE HDR has done rather well (Xbox One 89%, PS4 85% and PC 83,60% gamerankings).
But Resident Evil HD Remastered is NOT a 100% pure Remastered game imo. It´s nothing like the big jump between the original RE game, and Resident Evil remake to the Gamecube.
So don´t expect any big changes of that kind. Because then you´re just going to end up really disappointed. In my case, i have played the PC-version.
And so far i´m enjoying it (no, i have not experienced any framrate problems. At least not yet). But sadly enough, i won´t record any videos for it. Because the last thing we want, is copyright claims by Capcom…
But other than that, Resident Evil HD Remastered is most definitely worthy of your time and money.
