Resident Evil: Revelations wasn´t a bad game really. At least not the 3DS version, (which has a 83.50% average grade via gamerankings.com at the moment).

I can’t answer for the other versions of Revelations though. Anyhow, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 are a whole nother story.

But at least Claire Redfield are back in biz again (and Barry Burton´s daughter “Moira Burton” have joined in as well). And i have to say that i get good vibes from Revelations 2. All the footage that i´ve seen so far, made me think about the good Ol´ Resident Evil days.

resident evil revelations 2

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 are set for a early 2015 release (for PC, PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One).

However, i am somewhat concerned over the fact that Capcom are working on several RE titles at the very same time. In this case, Revelations 2 and Resident Evil: Remastered.  But hopefully that won´t effect the quality of the games.

I should also point out that i´m not the biggest of fans when it comes to the character designs in RE Revelations 2.

For example, Moira Burton looks like a female version of ‎Dante from ” DmC: Devil May Cry” (you know, the young emo version of Dante).

Then you got a handful of female characters that runs around with low-cut cloths. In short, their showing a lot of naked skin and cleavage (ain´t that the best kind of cloths to use when you´re trying to survive a zombie apocalypse?).

But even so, i´m quite excited about Resident Evil: Revelations 2. So “hopefully” i will get a chance to play it when it get´s released  by the very beginning of next year.

About Resident Evil: Revelations 2:
The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office.

Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what’s led to them being taken to this remote island? Who else will they come across? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.
