From the Xbox 360 to the Ps3 to the next-gen consoles we have a lot to look forward to in the gaming community. There are already lots of ideas to push our gaming experience to the next level and beyond.

Companies like Sony, Microsoft, and Samsung are pursuing themselves in thinking about the future. Big ideas and innovation of games, That’s definitely what we are going to be seeing in the future of gaming.

We are now in the era where we have the tech to pursue what everyone is getting into now, virtual reality. As we all know about the Oculus Rift, the VR headset that we see around here and there, there are now starting to be noticed by more companies.

Will the Oculus Rift take the gaming experience to the next level?

Sony is definitely getting into the virtual reality as they seen the popularity of the Oculus Rift go up.

They already started making their own VR headset, called, Project Morpheus. Samsung got into it (Samsung Gear VR), with their headset to work their phones and Microsoft is working on theirs to collaborate it with their Xbox one console.

Also there is the “Omni” by Virtuix which is a treadmill type base that you use your whole body in the virtual reality environment

Now Sony and Microsoft already have been making their next console of course, and even though they did not show anything, they have spoken about making their next consoles to have everything all digital.

Sony´s “Project Morpheus” is starting to shape up really nicely for the PS4.

So what this means is that you are not going to have to worry about a disk but the con to this is worrying about the cloud being shutdown or corrupt data and stuff like that.

Now of course we are going to have awesome games with enhanced graphics and game play but I see the future of the gaming having a lot of virtual reality games.

When it comes to the gaming consoles itself, there will mostly likely be all digital games like Microsoft was planning on doing with the Xbox one.

Samsung Gear VR is one of the most impressive VR headsets on the market right now.

So that means no going to your local retail store for games and buying them there or even trading in your games. In my opinion is can see a screw up in a lot of things but who knows new things can come up and there you have a switch of plans.

Tell me what you think and see in the near future of the gaming industry and i´ll be sure to get back at you.
