I bet that there are quite a few out there that still remember and love the sci-fi/comedy movie “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” from 1989. Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people at least. So, why do I bring this subject up right now? (so you might wonder)

Because we were contacted by the indie games publisher GrabTheGames and the indie games developer Mazen Games, who informed us that their laboratory-themed action/adventure sim “Size Matters” is now available for PC via Steam =)

As for the part about “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”. Well,  “Size Matters” sure got a lot of “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” vibes to it with no doubt:

“You play as a scientist who is shrinking every second in a race against time! Find all the ingredients and formulas scattered around the laboratory, which are necessary for producing the life-saving antidote.

In Size Matters you take on the role of a scientist who has unintentionally ingested a chemical that causes him to shrink every second!
As you shrink, getting around the laboratory gets trickier, with the game essentially turning into a platformer as you figure out ways to climb up onto where the equipment and ingredients are located!
Using the equipment, you need to manage to make an antidote in a limited time, before you shrink completely! Go through the formulas you find and follow them accurately!
But beware, your time is very precious – you need to process ingredients using lab equipment all while searching for missing components or rearranging the lab so you’re able to reach stuff when you’re smaller!”Mazen Games and GrabTheGames

That sounds pretty cool huh? Well, if you’re still not quite sure if “Size Matters” is your kind of game or not, then just take a look its latest gameplay trailer further down the page 😉 And with that said, what’s your take on “Size Matters”?
