To be honest with you guys, I’m totally speechless at the moment. Because i never thought that i would ever get to see Tim Schafer pull such a stunt like he did at the GDC 2015 event.

Not only was it a really bad joke, and a really stupid idea. But it was really offencive and provoking as well. As Tim made fun of minorities and people with disabilities, when he joked about #NotYourShield.

This is just one of many pictures that´s spreading all over the net at the moment.

And even if Tim Schafer would apologize for his stand up act at GDC. The damage has already been done, and it can´t be undone. Hell, things were already salty and sour between Tim Schafer and his audience before this scandal took place.

In fact, there´s even a anti Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions movement going on as i write this.

I think it´s safe to say that Oliver Campbell, is quite angry with Tim schafer at the moment.

And the reactions has been very loud and angry. I couldn´t pick out every single one of them of course, so i picked some tweets and comments which i thought topped the rest.

Like Oliver Campbell´s angry tweet that was aimed directly towards Tim Schafer. Well, the tweet speaks for itself really (see the picture above).

Even Mark Kern was shocked by Tim Schafer´s stunt at GDC 2015.

But not everyone had an angry tone in their tweets and comments. Mark Kern (CEO, MEK Entertainment) was more sad and disappointed than anything else.

TheRalph on the other side, he showed no mercy (whatsoever) on Tim Schafer´s “little” GDC 2015 stunt.

That was a heavy reach, ouch indeed…

And the list just goes on and on. For me personally (as a fan and a consumer), this was the last drop. I can´t support nor back Tim Schafer after this. It was uncalled for, it was unprofessional and it was also ignorant and a racists move.

So, was it worth it Tim? Everything (fans your career) for the hipster SWJ´s elite of San Francisco?
