Yes, it´s that time of the year (again). Christmas that is. And that can either be a really awesome time of the year, or a real hell for some (those who has to stress with making dinner, buying gifts and so on).

But in this case, i will try to focus on the positive aspects of Christmas.

For starter, i don´t know if it´s a big thing in other parts of the world. But in Sweden we try to guess the Christmas gift of the Year each and every year.

It´s kind of a tradition for us (in a way). And most shops, newspapers, retailers (and so on) tries to guess the Christmas gift of the year as well (it can be anything. Games, cloths, hardware, software).

But so far, i can´t say that i´ve seen much of that just yet in Sweden. So i will try to make my own predictions for this year.

For Gaming gifts that is. And most people would probably guess that PS4 or Xbox One would top the lists over Christmas gifts.

Could the Wii U (or PS3) become the Christmas gift of the year?

But i think that Wii U and PS3 will top the lists this year. Simply because of three reasons:

1. Both consoles are really cheap (you can get a PS3 Slim 12GB console for 200-$250. And a Wii U for 340-$380).
2. Both Wii U and PS3 has a lot of great games to enjoy.
3. They are family friendly, easy to use. And There´s something for everyone which they can enjoy

But this years nr 1 Christmas gift can be just about anything. At least in Sweden, for example. Some years ago a hat became the christmas gift of the year (can´t remember which year that was). Well, that´s my prediction at least.
