I (Robin Ek, TGG) was just informed that there is a petition page for the Razor console (the goal would be to get signatures). Furthermore, there is Patreon page as well:

The reason Operation Razor is here is because we want to Bring into this world a powerful and amazing alternative to the incompetent and feckless gaming systems of today. The world of the DVD player that happens to play games is not what we are about. We are about gaming the way it should be, a gaming system that happens to play media. We want to bring you to the Ultimate Level and Like a Razor we will cut through the competition.”

So if you feel like you believe enough in the Razor project and that trust the people behind the console, then you might want to check out the petition and Patreon page as soon as possible. As for me, I´m not going to do anything until I hear from SEGA. I would also like to point out that Aletheia Games made the following statement just recently (take it for what it is):

“Aletheia Games does not work with nor do we support outside groups that wish to make their own sites and comments. While we support the gaming community, we feel that it is inappropriate for members of that community to speak for and claim they are working with Aletheia Games. Any member of Aletheia Games will identify themselves as employees and never anything else. We love our community and don’t forget to go to razorconsole.com” – Aletheia Games

I (Robin Ek, TGG) just woke up to the news that Aletheia Games (it´s an independent video game development company) has released the very first trailer for their Razor console, and not only that. Aletheia Games has also launched a homepage for the console as well. However, as for now, there isn´t all that much known about the Razor console.

Aletheia Games razor console site is now live.

In the matter of fact, to my knowledge, this is the only available information for the console (you can also watch the “Real Passion, Real Games, Real People.” video for more information):

I wonder what SEGA will say when they find out about the Razor console?

So I honestly don´t know what to think or feel about the Razor console for now…Because as you might know, there have been quite a few console scams in the past (people who try to rip old SEGA fans off by stating that they are working on a “new” SEGA console, or whatnot). That´s also why I´m going to reach out to SEGA myself (I still know people who work for SEGA, as I´ve sold products for them in the past). As for here and now though, you can watch the very first trailer for the Razor console down below. So I´ll leave it up to you to judge for yourself what to think about Aletheia Games and their console. Personally, I´m not going to assume anything before I hear a official word from SEGA.
