Blizzard has been rather busy as of lately due to their presence at the Gamescom event. Because not only did hold a really intense and long Gamescom Live Stream, Blizzard also unveiled the new Wow expansion “World of Warcraft: Legion First”. And during the Gamescom event, Tim Morten, (StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void producer) revealed that Starcraft 3 and Warcraft 4 “might” happen sometime in the future.
This became publicly known when Morten spoke to IGN at Gamescom just a week ago. And this is what Morten told IGN:
“This isn’t the end of StarCraft, but it’s the end of this story for these characters,”
“We don’t have any specific plans, but I’ll say that the universe has so much potential for more stories, clearly other stories could be told.”
“It’s very rewarding for us to hear that there’s demand out there for more RTS content in the Warcraft universe so once we’re done with Void I think we’ll get together as a team and talk about what would inspire us to work on next. There’s no question, though, that we’ll consider Warcraft, StarCraft, or even new ideas. Anything is possible.” – Tim Morten, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void producer
In other words, as soon as Blizzard is done with “StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void”. There “might” be a chance of a new Warcraft (4) or Starcraft (3) RTS title. If that turns out to be true, which game would you like to see the most? Warcraft 4 or Starcraft 3? Let us know in the comment section!
