As well as announcing that Bloodborne has sold in excess of 2 million copies; the story DLC for Bloodborne was officially announced and dated during the Sony press conference for this year’s Tokyo Games Show. Named ‘The Old Hunters’ the DLC is “set in a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever” and will contain new locations, outfits, weapons, magic spells and new combat options.
The lore has also been expanded upon, and the only named boss is “Ludwig”; a hunter who was referenced throughout the main story and even had a weapon named after him; the fan favorite ‘holy blade’! The best news of all though is that it is released on November 24th on PSN, priced at £11.99. If you have yet to pick up Bloodborne, it may be best to wait until December 3rd when a retail bundle of the original game, and the new expansion hits a game shop near you!
