I know that Ubisoft has been under heavy fire for quite some time now (mostly over sloppy and buggy Assassin’s Creed releases), they have also been accused of releasing the same-old titles repeatedly (just a new number and a new name). Well, I´m pretty sure that no one expected Ubisoft to announce a title such as”Far Cry Primal” (which they accidentally did yesterday). It´s no joke though, because “Far Cry Primal” is the real deal. And it´s an open-world sandbox game that takes place during the stone age era. And you get the pleasure to enter the tropics and the Himalayas to fight for your life against large beasts in breathtaking (and hostile) environments. In other words, Far Cry has just gone full “stone age meets Turok” on us.
It remains to be seen whether or not that´s a good combination though. As it´s something, which has never been done in the Far Cry universe before (as far as I know). I have to admit that the “Far Cry Primal” trailer looks rather neat though, and it seems like death stalking you as well (it appears as if danger is always just one step behind or in front of you). So it´s a good thing that you won´t be alone in your struggle for survival. Yes, you read it right the first time. As you will have the ability to unite your tribe in-order to battle the large beasts whom roam in the world of “Far Cry Primal”.
That sure sounds promising, but like I said earlier. Will “Far Cry Primal” become a real beast, or is the game nothing more than a little kitty with a primal name? We will know for sure when the game gets released to Windows, Xbox One and PS4 next year (the 23rd of February for console, March for PC).
So what do you guys and girls think about “Far Cry Primal” so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
