I (Robin Ek, TGG) am very happy to inform all you “Fire Emblem” fans out there that “Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia” is set for a release on the 19th of May. Yes, you read it right, and I heard it directly from Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB) just now (It’s a Swedish to English translation, so it’s not 100% accurate):

“On May 19 released Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia to game consoles in the Nintendo 3DS family. Then also released a Limited Edition containing an artbook, metal pins, a CD with “Sounds of Echoes soundtrack and amiibo-figures Alm and Celia.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a strategic action-adventure is a refined, modern version of the game Fire Emblem Gaiden only released in Japan before.
In this game you take control of two different armies, led by Alm and Celia, both with the goal to unite the war-torn country Valentia. Just like the previous Fire Emblem games are tactics and choice of the right warriors before battles important.

The game has a classic mode where your warriors can become so damaged that they are permanently removed from the continuing conflict. Do not you want the game mode you can choose Casual Mode where fallen warriors to return after a while.

Follow the thrilling storyline in which Alm and Celica play the lead roles. Recruit new heroes and defeat enemies to get to know more about Alm and Celica. The game features the voice actors with beautifully animated cut scenes and it’s something that enhances the game’s storyline substantially. Explore the game’s locations in 3D. There are many secrets to discover. At the end of certain courses, you will find Milas statue, which can be used to upgrade or change the characters’ classes.

Figures amiibo-Alm and Celica can be used to unlock the respective exclusive path in the game. You can also use them in battle to invoke an Illusory Hero is an ally as the game controls. Buy these amiibo separately or as limited edition in which they are included. In addition, you can use amiibo figures as Marth, Roy, Ike, Robin, Lucina and the upcoming Corrin amiibo. They can also invoke a Illusory Hero. Other amiibo available can be used to summon a monster that can help players on the battlefields.”Nintendo Sweden
