This may not be “Half-Life 3”, nor the final production of “Black Mesa” (which will be released via Steam sometime in the future). But “Half-Life 2: Update” is a pretty darn impressive 7GB big update for HL2 (developed by Half-Life community member Filip Victor).
Actually, HL2: Update is a Valve approved fan-created mod, which will be released for free later today (via Steam).
And the HL2: Update includes everything from better graphics, bug fixes, full High Dynamic Range Lighting (HDR) to a An extensive community commentary mode.
So i think it´s safe to say that the weekend has been saved thanks to HL 2: Update. So, game on people!
