As some of you might remember, about one month ago Nintendo launched a Youtube video called “First look at Nintendo Labo“. Well, it’s been rather quite about Nintendo Labo since the release of that video. So just when I (and many others) was starting to wonder what Nintendo was up to, I/we received some new information about Nintendo Labo  from Nintendo Sweden (Bergsala AB). So here’s what Nintendo Sweden told us per e-mail:

“Not long ago, Nintendo revealed that Nintendo Labo comes to Nintendo Switch on April 27th. Today we can reveal another exciting thing about Nintendo Labo.Nintendo Labo is about creating, playing and discovering. A new exciting game mode included in Nintendo Labo’s software is Toy-Con Garage. This game mode shows, in a fun and easy way, how to put together the parts in ways other than the basic instructions. Try combining different details and discover new ways to play Nintendo Labo. Also track the new trailer here Nintendo Labo YouTubeIn addition to Toy-Con Garage, every Toy-Con in each kit also offers several fun opportunities to continue creating, playing and discovering”Nintendo Sweden

Nice indeed =) (you can watch the new Nintendo Labo video further down the page) And that’s just the half of it, because Nintendo Sweden also gave us the following information:

Variety Kit:
Toy-Con Piano: After putting the piano together with its 13 keys, you can record your own songs and then play them back. Test different sounds and pitches. It can lead to something truly unique. For example, you can make a song with only sounds from cats.
Toy-Con Motorbike: Drive your motorcycle through different lanes, challenge computer-controlled opponents and collect balloons in mountainous terrain. You can also create your own paths.
Toy-Con Fishing Rod: There are many exotic fishes to discover and the deep-sea fish are really clever to get up. You also have an aquarium for all the fish you catch and you can create your own fish.
Toy-Con House: Become a friend of the sweet creature living in the Toy-Con house and discover different ways to interact and play with it through the Nintendo Switch screen. There is a lot to discover here, including driving a racing car, playing bowling and jumping ropes.
Toy-Con RC Car: The radio-controlled car offers tons of unique possibilities that will surprise you. In the Variety Kit package, material is enough to build two Toy-Con RC cars. This means that you and another player can compete against each other, for example by trying to break each other into a so-called “sumo challenge”. You can also set up an obstacle course and compete on it. By creating a track with the supplied reflex stickers, you can drive the car yourself, as it can use the IR-sensitive motion camera located in the right Joy-Con.

Robot Kit:
Here you can build your very own Toy-Con Robot suit and take control of a robot in the game that comes with. Take on different challenges and destroy objects that in turn unlock new powerful skills.
Challenge a friend in a two player mode. However, you will need one to use the Robot Kit to use this option.
Nintendo Labo encourages players to use their imagination and creativity. This Robot Kit allows you to further evolve and it can also mean you are living your robot in the game.
