I am happy to inform you all that Sergeant Mark IV´s Brutal Doom v20b is now available! And not only that, Mark IV has also released the “Brutal Doom: Hell on Earth Starter Pack” as well (which contains Brutal Doom v20b, GZDoom, FreeDoom and 32 new maps for Brutal Doom). And I actually had the great pleasure to play the Hell on earth starter pack last night, and in my opinion, it´s bloody brilliant. So if you want to experience THE best FPS game so far this year, then download Brutal Doom v20b as soon as possible!

Christmas may be over for this year, but Sergeant Mark IV keeps the Christmas Gaming spirit alive be releasing a gameplay trailer for Brutal Doom v20b. And that´s awesome news for all of those who love Brutal Doom (with no doubt). However, Sergeant Mark won´t be able to release the latest edition of BD until the 31st of December. Nevertheless, I´m still excited over the next installment of Brutal Doom. As it seems like Mark has a huge development team behind him this time. At least, that´s what Mark wrote on Brutal Doom´s Facebook two days ago:

“Happy holidays everyone. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to release v20b and the Starter Pack on xmas, but I’m doing what I can to release it yet this year.”

“I have a huge team of beta testers working on reporting bugs and I am puting around 6 to 8 hours of work on it per day. The current build has zero gameplay-related bugs, and only few dozens of visual bugs. I’m sure that I can have everything finished until Wednesday. My only real concern is about detailed desirable bodies, not sure if I will be able to deliver the same level of detail showed in the previous video for all other monsters. And I personally want to have this released before the new year because on all new year nights I just go out to drink with friends, and get back home around 1AM, then I like to play Brutal Doom online in a random server. It has been like a tradition on the last 3 years. So, releasing v20b and the Starter Pack before the new year also is a part of my personal interests.” – Sergeant Mark IV via Facebook

And not to sound mean, ungrateful or anything, but Sergeant Mark is quite well-known for breaking his own deadlines. What I´m trying to say is this, don´t hold your breath for Brutal Doom v20b. As there are no guaranties (whatsoever) that BD v20b will be released on the 31st of December this year. However, even if BD v20b ended up being delayed to sometime next year. I´m still going to wait patiently for BD v20b to get released, as I really enjoyed the trailer which Sergeant Mark IV uploaded yesterday.
