What does Vitalina Batsarashkina (the Olympic silver medalist winner of air pistol shooting from 10 metres) and CD Projekt Red´s “The Witcher” series have in common? Well, most people would probably say “Not a whole lot”. Fair enough, I suppose. However, this time there is actually a legit connection. You see. Batsarashkina wore a “The Witcher” eye patch, and she also had a “The Witcher” medallion in her pocket while she was competing in the air pistol shooting from 10 metres during the 2016 Olympics in Rio (her awesome skills earned herself a silver medal):
And on a personal level, I find that fact to be really, really cool. I just hope that Vitalina Batsarashkina will be able to win herself an Olympic gold medal in the next Olympics (maybe she will do that in the 2018 Winter Olympics?). And I think she will. As she´s merely 19 years old at this time. Any ways, tons of respect and gratulations to Batsarashkina for winning herself an Olympic silver medal!
