I´m one those people who thinks a lot on which operating system that i´m going to use each time i buy a new computer. And at this time, i´m not all that impressed by Windows 8.1 (so i´m not buying a new computer at this time).

Then we got the deal with Windows upcoming Windows 10 (which is said to be a mix of the best parts from Win 7 and 8 + new features on top of that). But here´s the thing, if Win 10 ain´t Gaming friendly. Then i´me either sticking to Windows 7.

Or, i´m switching over to a Linux OS. But due to the fact that i´m having plans to build a new computer next year. It´s really important to me that the OS in question supports (or have plans to support) DDR 4 memory.

windows 10 phil spencer

Phil Spencer wants to talk about Windows 10 and Gaming.

But my concerns is perhaps unnecessarily in the case with Windows 10? Because the other day i saw a tweet by Phil Spencer (head of Microsoft’s Xbox division and Microsoft Studios) when i stated that “it´s time to talk about Windows and Gaming“.

I should however point out that Windows 10 won´t get released before late 2015. So Microsoft got a lot of time to make Windows 10 as Gaming/Gamer friendly as possible before release.

There´s also plans for a Xbox One and Windows 10 cross-platform connection (apps, games and so on). So in my honest opinion, i think Win 10 leans more towards being a Gamer friendly OS.

One should also keep in mind that Direct X 12 will play a big role in this (both for Xbox One and Win 10).

Then being the right opposite of that. But what do you guys think? Will Windows 10 become the ultimate Gaming OS in the near future?
