As i´m a fan of both “Chivalry” (a melee FPS game) and “Age of Empires: Rise of Rome” (epic RTS). I really like the idea of combining the two games in to ONE game.

And that´s exactly what Willis Studios has done with their RTS/FPS game “Age of Victory” (you can sign up for the beta today!). In fact, most of the elements from “Age of Empires” exists in “Age of Victory”.

For example, you can build weapons, gather resources (wood, stone, gold and food) and upgrade ages. Then you got the close combat melee FPS elements on top of that (you can use long distance weapons such as bows and crossbows though).

“Age of Victory” is like a mix of “Age of Empires” and “Chivalry”.

You will even be able to build your own traps, home base, catapults, towers, siege weapons, tools and much more! Spend your time and resources wisely though.

As your enemies lures everywhere (you have use both offensive and defensive tactics in order to win), and one single mistake could mean a annihilating defeat for you.

Sounds pretty cool huh? Well, yes. But “Age of Victory” needs to collect $10,000 on Kickstarter within 22 days from now.

About Age of Victory:
Imagine playing Age of Empires: Rise of Rome in first person with a team, all gathering resources (wood, stone, gold, food, and now women) in order to build up your empire. Use the resources you gather to build new weapons, militia, traps, tools and defenses to overcome your enemy.

Every game scenario will rely on your tactics to achieve victory, no matter if it’s a melee hand to hand combat, where you will have to decide which arm to severe and which arm your willing to lose to win the fight, or deciding which siege weapon to build, or what cavalry to ride in on.

You will have to Spend your resources wisely, on both offense and defense. Learn to create fire, and build the wheel along with swords, spears, bows, axes, catapults, stables, armor, walls, towers, and much more.Defend your home base, and protect resources that you gather from enemy players as they try to steal or destroy your resources.
