Don´t get me wrong now, I’m a HUGE fan of Keiji Inafune (the father of Mega Man). However, he and Comcept Inti Creates (Inafune´s studio) has a lot to prove right now. Why? Because AMN9 been delayed several times now. As the original release was said to take place in April, then “All Mighty No. 9´s” release got pushed to September. Well, the final release date is now said to be Q1 2016 (aMN9 will be released for Windows, MAC, Linux, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, 360, Wii U, PSV and 3DS). I really hope that´s true, because I have noticed that the fans (backers) have started to lose faith in, Inafune and “All Mighty No. 9”. And I can´t say that it was a really bright idea to kick-off a handful of side projects while AMN9 is still in the making (like “Red Ash: The Indelible Legend” and the animated series of “All Mighty No. 9”). Some would probably see that as a rather disrespectful move, since AMN9 got fully funded (Over 67,000 backers pledged + 3.8 million dollars to the project) on Kickstarter back in December 2013.
And now it´s 2015, almost two years later. So like I said earlier, Keiji Inafune and Comcept Inti Creates has a lot to prove. However, yesterday it became known that the AMN9 Kickstarter backers will get their hands on an early build demo (PC) of the game on September the 15th (Kenji Inafue announced the news at a PAX Prime). And the demo will consist of three playable stages, all of which is said to be different based on how much money you pledged to the AMN9 Kickstarter campaign (high tiers will receive extra content, for example). Not only that, ALL AMN9 backers will also receive a Steam code for “Mighty Gunvolt” next week. Keiji Inafune even hinted that “Mighty Gunvolt 2” “might” see the day of light in the near future.
“It’s quite likely you would see Mighty Gunvolt 2 before you’d see Mighty Gunvolt 1 on other platforms,” – Keiji Inafune, Comcept Inti Creates Boss, Pax Prime
