There´s a ton of different games on Kickstarter nowdays. But most of them are really, really expensive projects. And ain´t exactly a rare thing to see a 100,000 – $400,000 campaign on Kickstarter. At least not anymore. So when i heard about Vine´s infinite action/platformer “Cavern Kings” (it´s a “for PC only” title for now).
So i was really surprised to hear that the Kickstarter goal was just $2,500. I mean, Cavern Kings looks like a really ambitious game with a lot of potential (if you ask me). So at first i thought that it would be at least a $10,000 project.
But that´s not the case. So i´m quite sure that Cavern Kings will reach it´s Kickstarter goal before the time runs out (which would be 27 days from now).
But what do you guys think about Cavern Kings? And will you back the game up on Kickstarter? Maybe it will be easier for you guys to answer those questions if you download and play the Cavern Kings demo first 😉
About Cavern Kings:
“Cavern Kings is an infinite action platformer designed to make every playthrough unique and interesting. Inspired by action-packed games like Vlambeer’s “Super Crate Box” and the increasing difficulty aspects in “Risk of Rain”, Cavern Kings aims to explode with special effects in classical arcade fashion and create interesting synergies with its powerup system.”
