Invader Studios old school Survival Horror game “Daymare: 1998” may have failed to reach it’s Kickstarter goal on time, but the game sure didn’t fail to impress the Steam community. You see, I (Robin Ek, TGG) was just informed by Invader Studios that “Daymare: 1998” has been greenlit on Steam:
“We wanted to share the great news with you all. Thanks to the passion of our supporters, Valve has announced that Daymare: 1998 is successfully greenlit. We are all very excited by this news at Invader Studios. We did not imagine that we would be greenlit this quick and we are grateful to your support. We will continue to make Daymare: 1998 and will be back soon with more news. Thank you so much” – Invader Studios
Furthermore, I also told Invader Studios that it “might” be a good idea for them to consider giving indiegogo a try in the near future. As I believe that “Daymare: 1998” could do a whole lot better there then it did on Kickstarter (more people are aware of the existence of “Daymare: 1998” now). Nevertheless, having the game greenlit on Steam is a big step in the right direction for “Daymare: 1998”. So “hopefully” there will be some success for the game on the crowdfunding market as well.
