There´s a lot of action/adventure games out there, or games that has includes zombies for that matter. But it seems like Steamroller Studios has created something really unique with their game “Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse“.

Because not only do you get the great pleasure to fight of hordes of wooden zombies (aka “The Deadwood”), you will also be accompanied by a huge stone giant (his named Roguard btw).

I could be wrong now. But i think “Deadwood” is the first game ever to include wooden zombies in the game.

Here´s the thing though. Roguard (the big stone giant and your personal bodyguard) can only protect you during the day. Because as soon as the sun goes down, the roles are reversed.

As Roguard goes to sleep at sun down, so you (the player) will have to protect him until the sun comes up again. You will also have the ability to explore the land of Knottington (where the world of “Deadwood” takes place).

And most importantly of all. You need to scavenge for resources and use the resources to craft weapons and to build defenses. Sounds pretty cool huh?

Then just wait until you see the Kickstarter trailer for “Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse”. Well, it made a deep impression on me at least.

So i sure hope that “Deadwood” will be able to collect those $65,000 on time. As there´s just 19 days left on the Kickstarter campaign now.
