Many, many years ago HAL America Inc. released their 2D action/platformer “Kabuki Quantum Fighter” for the NES console (the game was released back in 1991-1992). And that game rocked a whole Gamer generation. Because not only are Kabuki a really good game, but the main character (Scott O’Connor) is also dressed as a Kabuki actor. And I´m not talking about your average kind of Kabuki actor either. No, this Kabuki warrior could actually kill his enemies by whipping them to death with his hair (in a headbanging motion). Anyhow, I´m going to get to the point. It seems like Wallride Games have brought life into the “headbanging and whipping your enemies to death with your hair” genre again (somewhat 23 years later after “Kabuki Quantum Fighter´s” original release). As “EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match!” (it´s a Unity driven Co-OP fighting game for PC, PS4 and iOS) is in the making.
In the matter of fact, this is the actual description of “EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match!” By Wallride Games:
“Wallride’s new game EleMetals pits demonic metal-heads with elemental powers against each other in a deadly platforming battleground. Run out of ammo? Headbang your powers back. Take a shard to the face? Pull your soul back to your body and continue the fight!”
I don´t know about you, but that sure sounds really cool to me at least. However, there are no release date for EleMetals at this time (the game is still a “to be announced” title). Even so, I really hope that we will get some more information about EleMetals in the near future. Nevertheless, there is at least a handful of trailers and pictures for the game that we can enjoy in the mean-while. As for the features of the game, I have added the full EleMetals features list down below.
MAD FEATURES:
– 1-4 player local action
– Badass characters each with a different Elemental ability
– Sweet elemental powers to mess with other players!
– Dash around like a beast
– Intense multiplayer game modes, and Singleplayer platforming
– Lots of rad physics junk to fling around
– There is a button to headbang.
