It´s not an easy job to make it big in the space simulator genre. As everyone want´s a piece of the pie nowadays. Sure, the genre was pretty much dead a couple of years ago.
But everything changed after the “Star Citizen” Kickstarter campaign (which collected over 2 million dollars). Now there´s quite a few space simulator games that´s in the making as we speak.
Like Eleon Game Studios action/adventure/simulation/strategy game “Empyrion: Galactic Survival” for example (which is set for a release in May sometime this year).
Will “Empyrion: Galactic Survival” stand a chance against the hard competition?
Which btw got Greenlit on Steam Greenlight not so long ago. And it didn´t take me that long to understand why when i watched the trailer for “Empyrion”.
As it´s simply freaking awesome!
