What would you get if you combined the space pirate Cobra, Freelancer and Unreal Tournament? I tell you what you would get, and that would-be Space Bear Development´s space combat simulator/FPS game “Galaxy Heist” (for Windows and Xbox One). A game which caught my attention on Kickstarter earlier today, as i find the game to be rather impressive and unique.
Which of course can be explained by the nice combination of several different genres, there´s also a ton of things that you can do in “Galaxy Heist.” (which btw got Greenlit on Steam Greenlight not so long ago). Like boarding ships in space, fighting intense space battles inside (and outside) space ship, and customizing your character and ships.
Oh! Did i also mention that you can play “Galaxy Heist” with (or against up to 4-5 player sub teams? (NPC and human players)? There´s even full support for Oculus Rift as well, and Space Bear Development has promised that there will be NO pay-to-win in “Galaxy Heist. So the game is 100% skill based, and that´s the way it should be.
Splendid! But what´s the catch then? Well, “Galaxy Heist” needs to collect £65,000 in order to reach it´s Kickstarter goal on time. There´s a big chance that “Galaxy Heist” will make it on time though, as there´s still 26 days left on the Kickstarter watch. So I wish the Bear Development the best of luck!
