I (Robin Ek, TGG) got some good news to share with all you Metroidvania, sci-fi and cyberpunk fans out there. You see, I was just informed by @unepic_fran (the maker of Ghost 1.0 and UnEpic) that there will be a new missions mode for his Metroidvania/Sci-fi/Cyberpunk game “Ghost 1.0” on the 24th of March (the game was released in June last year via Steam):
“Dear The Gaing Ground, GHOST 1.0, the successful sci-fi themed metroidvania for PC made by the creator of the unforgettable classic Unepic, will have a NEW Missions Mode available on March 24. Lifespan of the game will be expanded significantly since this mode will include 12 new missions which will last around 15 minutes each. These are independent from the main plot and won’t be unlocked until you get through the corresponding areas in Story mode. The update is absolutely free.” –
Furthermore, I was also told that @unepic_fran plan to release a mini prequel of Ghost 1.0 called “Mini Ghost” in April this year:
“Mini Ghost” is a mini metroidvania in the 80’s MSX art style and gameplay. It’s the mini prequel of Ghost 1.0.” – Francisco tellez de meneses, the creator of Unepic
In other words, there will be plenty of Metroidvania candy for us to enjoy very soon. So, keep your eyes open for “Mini Ghost” and the new missions mode for “Ghost 1.0”!
