It’s no news to the most of us that it takes quite a while to develop a really good game. Even so, I got quite surprised when I found out that Golden Era Games has been working on their classic style turn-based fantasy RPG “Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar” for over 20 years now (that’s about 2/3’s of my life). Well, guess what? “Grimoire” got Greenlit on Steam Greenlight just recently, and it’s said that the game will be released to PC on the 7th of July this year.
“The ultimate classic style turn-based fantasy roleplaying game! After more than 20 years of development, the greatest roleplaying game of them all is fnally ready for release! Grimoire is an homage to the classic dungeon blobbers and is inspired by Wizardry, Might & Magic, Lands of Lore, Anvil of Dawn, DungeonMaster and the Eye of the Beholder games!” – Golden Era Games

“Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar” has been inspired by games such as “Lands of Lore”, “DungeonMaster”, “Might & Magic” and “Eye of the Beholder”.
In other words, if you like games such as ” Lands of Lore“, “Anvil of Dawn”, “Wizardry” and “DungeonMaster“. Then you probably don’t want to miss out on “Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar”. Especially not since the game is said to offer the following features on launch:

– 244+ Maps in the game to explore!

There are +240 monsters to be fought in the world of “Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar”. In other words, there are plenty of things for you to slay. So, what are you waiting for? The monsters isn’t going to get slain by themselves!
On a personal level, I find this to be of great interest. Because I grew up playing quite a lot of turn-based fantasy RPG games as a kid. So I truly hope that “Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar” will be worthy of my time and money once the game launches for PC in the near future (July 7th, so I’ve heard).
And with that said, what’s your take on “Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar” so far? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
