I think it’s safe to say that time really does fly you by when you’re having a lot of fun, because it’s been almost a month since I published my post about Ink Stains Games upcoming rogue-like RPG “Stoneshard”. Well, a lot of things have happened since then. For starter, Ink Stains Games just informed us that there will be a Kickstarter campaign for “Stoneshard“:
“Hi, Robin! We at Ink Stains Games, creators of award-winning “12 Is Better Than 6”, are happy to announce Stoneshard is well on its way to Kickstarter.” – Ink Stains Games

The world of “Stoneshard” made me think about old-school 16-bit RPG’s like “Secret of Mana” and “Chrono Trigger”.
Nice indeed. However, it remains to be seen when “Stoneshard” will kick-off it’s campaign on Kickstarter. Anyways, for those who don’t know what “Stoneshard” is all about, here’s a short description of the game:
“Stoneshard is the first RPG that mixes roguelike gameplay with in-depth Follower System, wrapped in charming pixelated art-style, is launching its crowdfunding campaign in Q1 2018. Travel across the land as a leader of the Caravan of Companions, as you gather followers for your cause. Along your path not only will you face hundreds of enemies, but also struggle with hunger, fear and pain – as well as internal conflicts within your company. Visit various corners of the country, meet many rivaling factions and unravel the web of cunning intrigues.
From your main hero’s background, to your followers’ personalities and character traits, and even quest locations and scenarios – the story of StoneShard will be different every time you start a new game. Furthermore, your gameplay choices directly impact the world around you – whether it’s your hero’s stats, your interactions with the followers, or the way you chose to deal with troubles your Caravan faces along its journey.”
