I think it´s safe to say that FDG Entertainment is starting to get a really good line-up of games. Because earlier today they presented to me (us) the super awesome side-scrolling action/RPG/platform adventure game “Monster Boy” (which is a brand-new indie game that´s based on the Japanese Wonder Boy franchise), and just now FDG presented to me yet another really impressive title. And that title would be Cornfox & Bros (a Finnish indie studio) explorative 3D action-adventure game “Oceanhorn” (for PS4 and Xbox One).

And this is what FDG told me per mail:

“Hi TGG team, what an exciting week for everyone here at FDG. After announcing the new Monster Boy Trailer we also have an awesome new trailer for the upcoming launch of Oceanhorn – Monster of Uncharted Seas on game consoles! The game releases on PS4 and Xbox One next month on September 7. If you can make it to Gamescom, please visit us at the Xbox booth in Hall 8 where we have the full version of the game running in glorious 1080p/60fps.

We’re very happy to present the definite version of Oceanhorn to console players with the game based on the remastered PC edition (Ultra graphics settings) and including music from the legendary composers Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito.” – FDG Entertainment

And yes, you read it right the first time. As both Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito will create music for “Oceanhorn”. And I´m very happy to inform you all that the game is set for a release on the 7th of September for PS4 and Xbox One this year. So if you enjoyed the Gamescome 2016 trailer (which you can watch further down the page), then you got at least one game to look forward to this September (I shall see if I can sort out a giveaway for “Oceanhorn”, I will try my very best!).
