I don´t know about you guys. But there´s something really special about psychological horror games. Just take the Silent Hill, Siren and the F.E.A.R. series for example.
The fear of the unknown is constant throughout most of those game series. And your imagination play mind tricks on you as well (Silent Hill 3 anybody?).
So it´s going to be really interesting to see if Aldo Turati (Elevator games) will be able to deliver a top-notch psychological horror experience with his game “Solo: Gaze into Madness” (Windows, MAC and Linux), the game runs on the Unity engine btw.
I guess we just have to wait and see. But if you like the trailer (and the concept) for “Solo: Gaze into Madness” (which is set for a late 2015 release) , then don´t forget to show the game some support and love on Steam Greenlight!
About Solo: Gaze into Madness:
Solo’s story revolves around the life of Sebastian, a press photographer that can’t seem to remember anything else than the headlines and photos made on his career. On his journey he will be confronted with all series of mind-bending puzzles while his memories begin to haunt him.
In Solo you will have to think outside the box in order to find the exit within the room. This will be accomplished by watching and reading Sebastian’s memories while experiencing his anxiety and fears.
Since its inception Solo has been thought as a suspense/psychological horror game where the player must lose notion of the spatial logic.
