There´s no doubt (whatsoever) that Spelunky are a great platform game on it´s own. But when i heard about the Spelunky Metroid Mod. My jaw just dropped to the floor.
Yes, it´s that DARN good. Because the mod has taken the best parts of Metroid and Spelunky, and mixed them all together.
Pure platform perfection to the bone!
And that has given us the uber great mod (game) called “Spelunky Metroid Mod”. A mod that you can’t afford to miss really. At least not if you love action and platform games.
MOD DESCRIPTION:
“Spelunky Metroid Mod alters the graphics, music and text to a Metroid theme. SMM does not(significantly) alter gameplay. Some things are a little different however, for example bats are now a little harder to see, skeletons now look a little different depending on whether they are live or not, etc.. But basically SMM is purely an aesthetic change to Spelunky.”
