I don´t know about you guys and girls, but Arcade shooter´s has always been a huge part of my life, but as we all know. The Arcade isn’t quite like it used to be (80s and early 90s). So it´s been a while since I played any interesting games of that sort (especially on a “real” Arcade machine). However, thanks to the ever-growing indie scene, the Arcade shooter genre has started to get really popular again. So I got really excited when a German indie dev contacted us last night, as he presented to us the F2P arcade shooter SturmFront: The Mutant War, A game which (by the looks of it) made me think about a mix of “Commando”, “Mercs” and “Shock Troopers”.
Expect no heavy plot or advanced gameplay mechanics though (then again, how many arcade shooters offers that?), as the goal of SturmFront (which btw offers some really awesome handcrafted pixelart and graphics) is rather simple. Kill every mutant that you see! So if you´re into games such as this, then you should give SturmFront a try asap. You got nothing to lose really, as the game is 100% free. Besides, the mutant problem can´t be solved without your help. So let´s start hunting down some mutant’s people!
