I (Robin Ek, TGG) was just informed by Rotten Mage that his super fast and intense arcade Tower-Defense game “Spacejacked” (it’s been out for PC since the end of February this year) is coming to PS4 and PS Vita. So if you just happen to own a PS4 or PSV and enjoy tower-defense games of that kind, then keep your eyes open for “Spacejacked”! (you will find the full press release + the latest trailer down below).

Think and act fast or face death!

Press release:
Mar 16, 2017 – Singapore – Rotten Mage is excited to officially announce that it’s bringing its Arcade Tower Defense title, Spacejacked, to PlayStation 4 and Playstation Vita!

Aliens are invading your spaceships and it’s up to you to defend your ship from those pesky vermin! Meh, sounds typical; but here’s the catch – there are MULTIPLE rooms in your ship simultaneously under attack, and only ONE of you to manage them all!

Spacejacked is a unique blend of the arcade and tower defense genres that requires players to constantly make split-second decisions. The game will launch on the PS4 and PSVita in 2017 with the following:
– Story Mode – featuring almost 60 waves of alien scum in 2 distinct ship layouts
– Endless Mode with highscores
– Challenge Mode – 20 levels of highly challenging scenarios
– Colorful bunch of characters

Check out what others think of Spacejacked:

“If nothing else, Spacejacked easily meets the most important criteria I have when reviewing games — fun. Its frantic pace, interesting take on the genre, and well-executed mechanics make for an enjoyable experience.”Twinfinite

“By mixing a 2D side-scrolling shooter with traditional tower defense, the developers have created an intoxicatingly addictive action game that perfectly transcends genres.”Defunct Games

“If you are looking for a game that bursts with engaging gameplay and strategic elements, with retro charm as the veneer that holds it all together then you are buying Spacejacked as you read this. Can you pack more value and genre blending into such a tiny indie package?”Gone with the Win

About Rotten Mage
Rotten Mage is an independent game development studio located on a sunny island set in the sea. They’re composed of 3 very naive young men who, after graduation from college, proceeded to slog for 2 years developing “Spacejacked” – eventually releasing it on Steam to utter obscurity. Nevertheless, they are determined to keep making games. Visit us at www.rottenmage.com.
