It´s been quite a whole since I heard anything about the never-ending masked ball puzzle-and-adventure game “The Sexy Brutale“. Well, the silence was broken earlier today when Tequila Works (the developers of “The Sexy Brutale”) reached out to us with some new information about their game:

Tequila Works and Cavalier Game Studios are delighted to introduce you to Reginal Sixpence, “the Clockwork Baron”, in the first of our Character Videos for The Sexy Brutale, the puzzle adventure game coming out in Q1 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Learn about the life (and messy death) of Reginal Sixpence, the Marquis’ master clock maker, and one of the cherished guests at the annual Masked Ball hosted at the Sexy Brutale casino mansion. The Marquis is dying to meet you at his masked ball at his casino mansion, The Sexy Brutale, in Q1 2017.

That´s some awesome news indeed. Furthermore, I was given a brand-new character trailer (you can watch the video further down the page) and a picture (the one down below) plus some information for Reginal Sixpence (aka “the Clockwork Baron”) as well. So “hopefully” you will find “The Sexy Brutale” to be even more exciting and interesting now =)

Reginald Sixpence, also known as the “Clockwork Baron” is one of the cherished guests at the annual Masked Ball hosted at the Sexy Brutale casino mansion.
During an event usually filled with drinks, dancing and delicacies, the most exciting part of Reginald’s evening is almost certainly being shot messily to death with a rifle in the mansion’s chapel by one of the staff members.

But then, a horrible death is rather the fate of ALL the guests at the mansion at this particular party; perhaps the only truly strange thing is that tomorrow he’ll wake up and do it all over again. Yes, for some, a never-ending masked ball that is the height of fashion (but also plumbs the depths of depravity) would be heaven on earth – but for others, it’s a hell that cannot be escaped. But perhaps there is still hope. As an elderly priest and the sole guest who seems unaffected by the time-loop, Lafcadio Boone must watch, wait, learn and act to free these poor souls from the last party of their lives.
