As you might remember, I wrote a preview post for 8 Points upcoming plot-driven survival co-op game “The Wild Eight” back in May this year. Well, it has been rather quiet on the Wild Eight front as of lately. Because the last update that I did was about the game´s new homepage and gameplay video, and that was back in October…However, just now I (Robin Ek) was contacted by 8 Points, and this is what they told me:

“The Wild Eight is coming Q1 2017. With the updated release date here are some brand new screenshots from the game. See how survivors struggle after the crash and hunt for the food. Exploration may lead them to peculiar findings and places, but if they venture even deeper in forests of Alaska, they may regret unearthing some secrets that will lead to discord among their ranks. And this is only the beginning. Something mysterious will appear in late December.” – 8 Points

In other words, “The Wild Eight” will be released sometime during Q1 next year for Windows (via Steam), ~~PS4 and Xbox One~~ =) So keep your eyes and ears open for the game folks!
