The wholesome Norse city builder ‘Thveit’ has just been announced for PC

This must be something of a dream come true for all those who love Maniac Mansion (the original game was released back in 1987).
Because both Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick just happen to work on a true successor to Maniac Mansion, and it´s called “Thimbleweed Park”.
A game which Ron and Gary been dying to make. And thanks to Kickstarter (and all the backers), Thimbleweed Park is over 100% funded!
“Thimbleweed Park” is a true successor to Maniac Mansion. And both Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick works on the project.
Because the original goal was to collect $375,000. But at this very moment, Thimbleweed Park has managed to raise over $500,000! And there´s still 7 days left on the Kickstarter campaign.
And i´m really happy to hear this, because if everything works out really well with Thimbleweed Park. Then we might get to see a sequel (remake?) of Day of the tentacle (also known as “Maniac Mansion 2”).
Anyhow, a big congrats to Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick!
