It´s been a very long time since I played Zippo Games and Tradewest old-school multi-directional space shooter “Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship”. However, I still remember the game like it was yesterday. As I used to play “Solar Jetman” all the time with my friends on the NES back in the early 90s. And to be honest, even though that´s over 25 years ago. I haven´t played any game quite like “Solar Jetman” since then. Until now, that is, because earlier today I found out about ThirtyThree Games super intense action/arcade platformer “RunGunJumpGun” (for Windows, MAC and Linux). And good thing that, since “RunGunJumpGun” seems to be a “Solar Jetman” on speed and LSD (everything happens really fast, and you get bombarded with colors and bizarre shapes from every single angle, there is).

And those’re probably just a few of the reasons behind why “RunGunJumpGun” got Greenlit on Steam greenlight as of lately, and that´s just the half of it. As ThirtyThree Games aims to release “RunGunJumpGun” by the very start of 2016. At least, that´s what Matt (one of the developers behind the game) wrote on Twitter on the 15th of December:

“Thank you all for your votes! After a little over one week of hair pulling (We’re all bald now. Jordan pulls it off best), we’ve been accepted into steam. The game’ll be out in early 2016, and we hope you’ll check it out. Matt OUT!” – ThirtyThree Games via Steam

You better have Jedi Knight reflexes if you intend to play “Rungunjumpgun”.

So one could only hope that it´s true. Well, at least if you like Solar Jetman-like games (which I do). Time will tell I guess. As for here and now, please enjoy the “RunGunJumpGun” video down below! And if you have already seen the trailer, what did you think about it?
