I honestly had no idea (whatsoever) that there were a new Toejam and Earl game in the making. But it´s true, as one of the original makers (Greg Johnson) is trying to get “Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove” funded on Kickstarter.

That´s great news of course. But here´s the thing, “Back in the Groove” needs to collect $400,000 to happen. And at this moment, the game is $34,000 short.

And there´s just 3 days left on the Kickstarter campaign now, so the time is running out really fast!

Toejam and Earl is back in biz again!

And by the looks of it, “Back in the Groove” is true to it´s roots. It´s a 2D/3D game however (i don´t mind that though).

I should also point out that the game is made by Humanature Studios. Which would be the same studio that made “Doki-Doki Universe“.

I can´t say if that´s for good or bad, that Humanature Studios is developing “Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove” though.

As i have never played “Doki-Doki Universe” before. But i still hope that “Back in the Groove” will happen. As i´m a huge “ToeJam & Earl” fan, and i have been that ever since the very first game (which was released back in 1991 for the Mega Drive).
