Even though i´m not a huge fan of golf. I have to admit that i find Surprise attack´s steampunk golf game “Vertiginous Golf“, to be rather entertaining and creative.

But then again, Vertiginous Golf  is not your “ordinary” kind golf game either. And if you watch the trailer for Vertiginous Golf, then you will understand what i mean by that.

About Vertiginous Golf:
Vertiginous Golf is the spiritual sequel to the Vertigolf game series by Kinelco. Set in an alternate industrially revolutionised future where life on the ground is hampered by a permanent smog which plunges its inhabitants into constant darkness and never ending rain.

The Vertiginous levitation system invented by Edward V Frohlich in 2006, was primarily developed to provide the upper tiers of society with a power system that could permanently levitate plots off the ground where they could build their residential houses and recreational follies high enough to be above the eternal smog and bathed in almost constant sunlight.

As most of the workers who ran the system had never actually seen the sun in their lifetimes, and due to class differences were not permitted to travel into the exclusive Vertiginousphere, Edward decided to develop a remote connection device to allow the workers to experience the sunlight, albeit virtually. Since the elite would not allow the workers to even remotely connect with their plots of land, Edward had to create a separate set of plots for use by the workers.

This eventually developed into a golf like game high above the clouds for the workers to experience during their leisure time. The first shop was opened to the public in 2013 within the Vertiginous levitation systems huge factory in the center of the largest metropolis. And now you are invited to experience the world of Vertiginous Golf.
