What do you get if you mix Australia, the movie Water World, B.OB (a 2D shooter and a platform game for SNES and Mega Drive) and Abuse? (a classic action/platform game for PC). You would most likely get Zorvan Entertainment´s “Water: The world in chaos” (which runs on the Unity Engine). A game which I found out about this morning (thanks to a mail by the developers themselves). So what is Water all about then? Well, it´s a 2D sci-fi action game that takes place in an outer space. As for the plot goes, there is an intergalactic fight between heroes (humans) and villains (aliens) going down in the world of “Water: The world in chaos”.

Water made me think about a mix of “B.OB” and “Abuse”.

And the villains (aliens) have stolen our water (earth´s water). So it´s our (the players) job to take the water back to earth, Because without water, there can be no life. That´s of course easier said than done, as the aliens won´t just give us the water without one hell of a fight. Have no worries though, as you get the chance to control an astronaut hero who’s armed to the teeth. However, you will have to fight through over 80 levels (with four awesome heroes with jetpacks capable of different power and speeds) in “Water” before you are able to save our planet.

So if you like the sound of that, then I’m glad to inform you guys that “Water: The world in chaos” is set for a release in November this year (for Windows, MAC and Linux). However, there are no price for “Water” at this time. You should also keep your eyes (and ears) open for “Water” on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter, as the game will launch there any day now.
