As some of you might remember, a couple of weeks ago we did an interview with DEVGRU-P about their upcoming ecchi parody visual novel “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer”.

Believe it or not, but Adolf Hitler has been transformed into a cute anime girl in “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” (thus the name of the game).

Well…sadly enough I haven’t heard all that much about the game since then. However, just this morning DEVGRU-P informed us that “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” is now fully funded on Kickstarter! (the SJWs are not happy about it though…)

That’s right, because the game hit it’s 8,000 USD Kickstarter goal on the 18th of July.

Yes, Rudolf Hess is a cute anime girl in the game as well. So is Heinrich Himmler and Joseph Goebbels.

Awesome indeed, but what is “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” all about then? Well, this is the actual background story for the game:

“The Reich is on the brink of war…

Erwin Rommel just got the assignment of his life, leading the invasion of Poland in operation Polandfeldzug. Unfortunately his world is turned upside down when a plot to overthrow the German government led by Oberstleutnant Claus von Stauffenberg results in the death of the entire German high command.

Undeterred, Rommel returns to Berlin to prevent civil war only to find that the Führer, along with the rest of the high command, is not dead, only… changed into anime characters.

Instead of leading a simple invasion of Poland, Rommel is stuck trying to prevent the world from descending into utter chaos as the Anime-Führer runs Germany into the ground at every turn, blundering at everything from military strategy to diplomacy.

Make friends (mostly enemies) at the most pivotal moments in history, from the Battle of Stalingrad to the Invasion of Normandy.

With five potential Waifus, you’re guaranteed to have fun on multiple playthroughs as you try to prevent the inevitable shenanigans that ensue.” – DEVGRU-P

I for one never thought that I would like the idea of seeing Joseph Goebbels nude, but there you go.

In other words, the story of “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” sounds just as crazy fun as the game itself.

I mean, in “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” you actually get the chance to see and talk to famous WWII Nazi personalities that have been turned into cute anime girls :3

I find the dialogs to be pretty darn hilarious in “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer”.

Anyways, other than that. DEVGRU-P also told us that “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” only got two stretch goals left on Kickstarter:

35,000 USD – Visit Italy and Russia to more waifus

50,000 USD – Animated characters in live2d fi-scenes

And by the looks of it, “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” should be able to reach both of those goals with no sweat since the game has already raised over 33,780 USD on Kickstarter.

Especially so since there’s still 15-days left on Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer’s Kickstarter campaign. Well, time will tell. So I’m going to wish DEVGRU-P the best of luck with everything =)

And if everything goes according to plan, then we should get a chance to play “Mein Waifu is the Fuhrer” for PC via Steam in December of this year (2019).
